The opportunity
The UK calisthenics scene lacks a centralised hub for news, products and resources. We will fill this gap, catering to the increasing demand for accessible, high quality content and equipment. A combination of being first to market and my experience creating calisthenics content and selling equipment, means we’re in a strong position to capitalise on the rise in popularity of calisthenics.
I’m seeking a small £9,000 seed investment to get the project over the finish line. A traditional investment background is not required, but being somebody that works out is.
What I need
The overheads are very low for the business and the small raise is needed to do the following:
- £4.5k personal living costs to dedicate another 2 months to completing the website and launching the business.
- £2.5k marketing and promo material to spread awareness and increase visibility.
- £1.5k held in reserve to be deployed after launch.
- £0.5k legal costs (incorporation, copyrighting names, etc).

At The Bars is the culmination of over 15 years of experience and passion for calisthenics. I bring a proven track record of running a successful business in calisthenics equipment sales, giving me deep insight into the market and strong relationships with suppliers.
Since 2008 I’ve been creating engaging and educational calisthenics content, building credibility and connections within the community. The unique combination of expertise, industry knowledge and established networks positions At The Bars for success in a rapidly growing market.
