BICESTER MOD PARK

DOUBLE PULL UP BAR:
I like these pull up bars. They’re high (I can barely reach the high one) and the bars are long enough for wide arm pull ups.

The bars, especially the posts, are a bit old and beaten up, but they get painted every now and then.

MONKEY BARS:
I’m not a big fan of this style of monkey bars, but they’re okay if you want monkey bars. I’d prefer them to have wider bars, not handle bars, and all be the same height.

DIP BARS:
The zig-zag design makes them quite limited if you train freestyle/street workout, but they’re fine for strength training. The bars are a nice width apart and there’s plenty of space to have multiple users at the same time.

WIDE DIP BARS:
Avoid - just use the other dip bars in this park.

The photo makes the bars look closer than the actually are; the bars are too wide to do anything on them. When I lived in Oxford we used to train here all the time and I don’t think we ever touched these dip bars.

BALANCE BEAMS:
I don’t know when you’d need balance beams, but when you do, these ones are probably fine.

PUSH UP BARS:
I like these. When the park is wet and muddy, these bars are useful for push ups. They can also be used to practise straight bar handstands.
